S.E. Hinton's novel explores the class struggles of kids growing up in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Poor, undereducated, violent, broken families and white.

Well when you kick a boy when he's down under circumstances he can't control when he becomes a Man and has some say he'll say alot to those who made him feel inferior!
