Just how pervasive is the influence of The Seven Sisters of Big Oil?A quick glance at Wikipedia points out that the 16% of petroleum not used for energy is used for consumer goods including;
Solvents
Pesticides
Fertilizers
Pharmaceuticals
and Plastics.
Hmm... the "Pleiades" produce products that aid in the growing of food which may be addictive (and making us fat),
create packaging that may cause long-term harm,
and then create products which aid in curing the problems they may have caused in the first place?
Now THAT'S a real hustle!

I have to agree if you pump the poison and the cure life is lovely money wise. The real question is do we think of those people as evil for setting up the scheme or do we blame the people for eating the food that is provided overwhelmingly in that format?
Nah... Big Oil is a profit driven enterprise - they are like drug dealers who control every aspect of their product from creation to cure.
