A Different Standard ?

C'mon ladies - why didn't you put Flava Flav on the list?
http://www.mochainc.com/2008/11/sexiest-black-men-of-2008.html
He was in one of the most influential and important musical groups of all time.
He has been on several successful television shows.
He has women fighting over him and has even dated a woman who was once thought to be one of the world's most beautiful (Brigitte Neilson didn't always look that bad.).
Even being associated with him brings a certain amount of fame and fortune (New York).
Why is he missing from the list?

What about your boy Tracy Morgan.
You always say that you like a sense of humor.
It's not like he's broke (at least I don't think he is).

And why you gotta' clown Shabba Ranks? (In Living Color even calls him "Mr Ugly Man".)

Women always talk about judging them from what's on the inside, or by their personality, or by their other accomplishments.
Let's be honest - looks matter to you as much as they do to men.
So how you gonna' dog these brothas like that?

@ RunningMom - It's just funny to me when I listen to many Black women complain about all of their possitive traits being dismissed by the "good looking" men - but they judge guys in much the same way.
I didn't see any big guys on the women's sexiest list.
A fit body is generally perceived as desirable.

@ brohammas - It's your fault that I've been thinking about the topic (That Heffernan Theory)
