The current generation's Lil' Kim or someone with real skillz like Jean Grae?
Weezy or Talib Kweli?
A VW Beetle or a Mercielago?
I'd much rather watch Persephone in The Matrix than Scarlet O'Hara in Gone With the Wind any day.
Tommy's over Mickey D's any day.
Plain vanilla or your local favorite?
Sure, I'll pick up paint, toiletries and DVD's from Walmart - but never a suit.

real taste is different than broadest appeal. The car was a great example, just because a car is the best selling does in no way mean it is the best car.
Brother I've just gone this entire month without eating meat, fortunately it'll be over in 3 hours. That double cheeseburger has me drooling like mad!!!
I can't see that sexy ass Monica Belluci without thinking of the Matrix and I can't think of the Matrix without thinking about the Merovingian...
"I love French wine, like I love the French language. I have sampled every language, French is my favorite. Fantastic language. Especially to curse with. Nom de dieu de putain de bordel de merde de saloperie de connard d'enculé de ta mère. It's like wiping your arse with silk. I love it."
@ Marianne & Val - Actually the VW example was a poor choice on my part (I was waiting for someone to catch that). The VW was a simple and affordable concept with low maintence. It was probably the most ideal product of it's era. No one had to be McGyver to fix a Bug. The Lambo would not be worth the money but the Bug would.
Concerning to whom the fault of oppression belongs; "We are not all equally guilty but we are all equally responsible" - Rabbi Abraham Hescel
Concerning blaming others for the problem; "...And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?... - Matthew: 7 1-5
Concerning how to fix the problems concerning oppression; "Someone once said that the word 'motivation' should never be used in the singular. Some combination of motives always exist and it's impossible for anyone to qualify the proportion of each that is involved in any given act" - Warren Buffet (in an interview in the USA Today)

I agree, but I'll always love the Beetle :).
I'll take the Mercielago, then sell it and buy a nice classic V Dub.
And I haven't been to Wal-Mart in years! I hate that place for many, many reasons.
