I've never been into buying Jordans but Mike's Two3 line produced one of my all-time favorite shoe styles.
Too bad the brand went out of business before these shoes went out of style.
I liked them so much that I bought two pairs.

Bull$#!t !!!
So if the Bush tax cuts aren't extended then small business - which employ more than 50% of American workers - owners will suffer the most.
I gotta' call bullshigidy on this one.
How are we supposed to balance the books if we cut revenue (taxes) while we increase spending (extended unemployment benefits)?
There are jobs out there, just not the jobs which will pay you just to show up - the days of make-work employment are over.
Small businesses can just restructure and make their owners highly paid (but less than $250,000k yr.) employees instead of sole-proprietors.
Adapt M-effer.

Suicide
Maybe it is a good idea after all.
No, not in the physical sense but maybe in the social sense or even with the intentional death of ones ego.
Socially, it is only possible when one frees himself from the codifying nature of group-think - when one sees that the emperor indeed has no clothes.
But the sin of suicide could be more of a warning than an order.
If one thinks differently than the rest of his group he will become the pariah - he will be shunned, slandered and abused.
If one sees the truth and tells it when everyone else believes the lie, that man will be treated in much the same way as WikiLeaks' Julian Assange.
Choose not to fall in line with the rest of the world - lose your ability to earn an income because PayPal drops you as a client.
Choose not to give in to the pressure from the kings and queens being outed - wait for the warrant to be issued for your arrest.
Tell the truth when those in power use such lies to retain their power - have your ability to communicate such truth eliminated.
Why not do what everyone else is doing just so you can all get along?
But the world does not want to change.Even when one is head and shoulders above the rest in thinking or doing - that man will become the enemy.
Like JFK, Martin Luther, MLK Jr, or Malcolm X, that man will need to be eliminated to retain the status quo.
It is said that the first responsibility of any business is to protect it's assets.
Well, 'power' (whether through debt, manipulation or violence) is the asset most coveted by the elites in any group, culture, religion or government - and the establishment businesses much protect their power at any and all costs.
The ruling body will treat that man as though he were a Cancer and the rest of the establishment were the T-cells.
That man will force the body to adapt by becoming stronger.
But the world does not want to be stronger, better or more efficient.
The world wants to be fat, comfortable and lazy.
But it is this complacency which creates the conditions under which the disease of the freethinking man originates.
By not changing... the world creates the need for change.
But what is the first step of such an evolutionary leap?
Maybe it's through death.
This 'death of the ego' can be accomplished through fasting, prayer, meditation, sleep deprivation or the use of psychedelic drugs.
This is the desired effect of reaching Nirvana for Buddhist or Moksha for the Hindu.
This point of consciousness is the first step in seeing what is real while being able to overlook the imagined importance of worldly values.
The next step is the 'death of status'.
What would happen if one told others what he actually believed, imagined or knew?
Would many be called race-traitors, Uncle Toms, sellouts, rats or snitches?
By telling the truth, one my be committing a form of social suicide.
How many people would want to be around someone who always told the truth?
But how many would not choose to fall in line when the system dictated that he should?
How many would refuse to stand in line to accept their three sixes when the price of such a choice was death?
So get your 666 tattoo and live like everyone else.
Watch reality T.V. and the rest of our celebrity driven culture while your world crumbles around you just so long as you have friends who think and act just like you.
Don't think freely, don't act differently - doing so will just lead to your untimely (but required for mankind to evolve) death.

Knife Sharpening Hussle
"How much do I get paid?", is a question never asked by my young cousins.
"How can I get paid?", is.
In order to make money for the holidays my young cousins already have a business which owns and hangs Christmas lights and decor on people's houses.
But this past Thanksgiving I bought a new knife sharpener.
Upon seeing this my niece (always the first to think of a new hustle) thought that I should pay her to sharpen all the knives in my house.
She's a bit young to handle cutlery on her own so I helped her with the job.
"I could make money doing this for everyone!", she said.
The thing is, she could - everyone has old dull knives filling a kitchen drawer.
We printed fliers and arranged pick-up dates for my neighbors.
We sharpened the knives (@ $3.00 a pop) and returned each knife with the newly sharpened blades covered in cardboard and two pieces of tape with the name and address written on each.
In one day my niece made $189.00.
Upon seeing this my male cousins decided to expand her operations to include more neighborhoods.
Sure, these kids will probably end up working for someone else - maybe at a job they don't even like - but they will always have the foundation of creating opportunities where others see none.
They may get to the point where they create their own models from which they can create their own businesses with the information learned from these jobs.

Censored
Didn't the founding fathers want freedom of speech for everyone? It's only detrimental when it's directed towards you.
In an age when we have more information but less knowledge - what harm will WikiLeaks actually do?
In an age when we Americans protest the censorship of the Internet in China, Iraq or Russia - why is access to WikiLeaks bad for Americans?
In a time when Obama promised more transparency in government - isn't WikiLeaks providing that?

Just because one excels in one aspect -that doesn't mean that his mastery is universal.
Another great book from the guys at Disinformation ("Far Out 101 Strange Tales...") points this out by noting when great thinkers thought too much.

Sound Health
Some ideas are bad - others are just before their time.
In 1882, Dr. Albert Abrams developed a "Reflexaphone" to diagnose diseases using only sound.
His idea was that different diseases omit different frequencies.
In the early 1930's, Dr. Royal Rife claimed that Cancer was caused by virus-like organisms and that he could kill them by blasting them with electromagnetic waves.
Nikola Tesla claimed that he could induce violent sickness using a vibrating infrasound chair.
In the 50's, Dr. Vladimir Gavreau discovered that low frequency sound waves (caused by anything from chemicals burning, the sound of engines or even the wind) could cause people to become nauseous.
The late English engineer Vic Tandy discovered that naturally occurring and man made Extremely Low Frequency signals (Those below the common human range of hearing - 20 Hz) could induce discomfort, dizziness, blurred vision, hyperventilation, and fear.
(Which may explain why my calm baritone voice scares the ish out of my young cousins - but calms the older women on whom I check in. It seems that women are more sensitive to higher frequencies but become less so with age. The kids hear the same frequencies of a Tiger's pre-attack roar (about 18 Hz) while the older ladies are calmed my the male baritone voice.)
Aum, Amen, Amin, I Am,... whatever.
If the four attributes of 'living cells' are;
having a distinctive outer boundary,
having the ability to replicate,
having the ability to grow,
and having the ability to communicate - then the 'sound of consciousness' may be the first step in creating life.

Do Machines Have 'Memory'?
BD asked whether a tattoo would be thought of as being a 'memory'.
But a tattoo doesn't interfere with performance.
A burned image on a screen would be more of a cataract....
While the Compac, Dell or Apple logo would be more comparable to being a tattoo.
