Infinite Realities

If there are infinite realities with infinite combinations of outcomes - there has to be at least one final outcome where everyone chooses what is best for everyone.
Is this the "narrow path" of which Christ speaks ?

But, there also has to be at least one final outcome in which everybody suffers.

Why a final anything? That assumes that time is linear. Maybe only mortality is linear.

Time is not thought of as linear in a multiverse.

The game of chess has in excess of a google of possible board arrangements - however - only a very tiny subset of all of what is possible is meaningful.

My kwestin for you Uncle John is this, do you suppose that even in a non-linear multiverse, only a very tiny subset of possible arrangements is actually meaningful?

Is the "direction" of time linear?

@ brohammas - Is mortality linear?
How?

Is the "direction" of time linear?

By "linear" do you mean unidirectional?

No

and, do you want to know more about its direction(s) and shape from the perspective of;

1. physics
2. information theory
3. personal application

One through three.

But I thought time only moved forward.
I read some Hawking example stating that we would see things happening that would resemble film being run backwards if the direction of time could run in reverse.

1. How could "evolution" work if there was not some backscatter of information from the "future" traversing a backwards arrow of time and being instantiated in the "present"?

2. Read up on Charles Bennett and Rolf Landauer reversible computing (warning the information theory is essentially indistinguishable from the physics)

3. What does the Mutus Liber suggest concerning sidereal time and "paranormal" effects?

the pyramids?

the gospels?

My model of the Universe would have the past (before the Big Bang) acting as roots which influence the future.
The present (post Big Bang) would be the stalk, branches and leaves.
The Big Bag would be the ground level.
And the time before time began would be the roots.
(I couldn't use that model earlier because it went in a different direction than what I was trying to state.)

unless you're doing theoretical physics - I suggest you act as if you never heard of such a thing as a Big Bang theory.

Given the lowly position of our organism in even just the planetary scheme of things, the scale of such cosmic speculations is really rather ridiculous.

If I recall correctly, this little pamphlet (while full of Collinesque errors) contained considerable practical value wrt useful ways of cognizing time.
