Too "Smart" For Their Own Good

As local police are quick to point out that "this is not a terrorist act" - what else could it be?
Is it not a "terrorist act" because the perpetrator is white,
or educated?

Can't smart white Americans also be terrorists?
What traits does Jimmy Buffet wanna-be Joseph Stack share with others recently involved in domestic terrorism?

(sorry, my links aren't working but the article cites a Smoking Gun story which lists this guy's manifesto.)

Was Amy Bishop thought to be dumb?

What about the guy who went on a shooting spree at Fort Hood?

Wasn't the Unabomber highly educated?
Maybe this is part of a larger problem with the disaffected intelligentsia.

Dude slams a plan into a Federal Building, because he is unhappy with the practices of the IRS? That dude's a Terrorist! I don't care how they spin this, what this guy did is the very "American" definition of terrorism!

If they call this terrorism then they will have to consider then that the enemy looks like them. They don't want the enemy to look like them.

Not true.

The enemy already looks like "them", majority of homegrown terrorists in the US have been White...Timothy McVeigh (Oklaholma), the Unabomber, Samuel Bowers (KKK), Eric Robert Rudolph (Olympic Bomber)...the list goes on.

"They" find it convenient to forget when "they" talk about Islamist groups "attacking" the US.
