Julius (Everybody Hates Chris), Cosby or Bernie Mac are more favorable images of Black manhood.
Maybe it's Mr Perry's experiences that dictate his limited perception of men.
Maybe he is just stating those opinions from a broken female's point of view.
What is the shared trait these women possess?
It is the perceived desperation for validation.
Each seems to be begging audiences to, "Please like me.".
This desperation for acceptance is the least attractive trait a woman could have.

All of them have screeching irritating voices too but they all are talking like they are prettier than they are. You can't be the authority on beauty just because you are on TV, you actually got to tow the line a bit.
To me someone has elevated someone's bitter ass mom to television and they are full of hate and gossip that just makes you detest whatever they happen to speak about.
It's funny Barbara Walters is not on this list because she seems to know how to be tough and a woman. These women haven't mastered that art but that could be something she got from an earlier era.
But the funny thing is - Barbara Walters hired four of these women to be on her show. (Maybe to make herself look good by comparison.)
I CANNOT STAND THAT DAMN JOY BEHAR!!! She is the most annoying egotistical unfunny commedian ever. I just do not like her at all and DO NOT care for anything she has to say. ugh!
Kate. All she did was have a bunch of babies and run her husband away with her shitty attitude and lack of personality.
Sheri is not that bad but she isnt really funny to me.
Star isnt that bad either and she didnt turn that man gay. He was gay when they married. She was moreso infactuated with being married which was annoying.
Rosie - CANT STAND HER and so over hearing her harp on her being gay. We knew that a long time ago. It wasn't news when she finally felt the need to come out of the closet.
I mildly feel some kind of way about you comment on Monique as it wasnt neccessary especially since she has lost a considerable amount of weight to be healthier. However I find her show to be a bit annoying with all the damn hollering she does all the time.
And of course I do not agree with you Tyler Perry comment. I think their are positive portrayals of black men in his movies. I suppose I do not understand why some of us black people have such an issue with him but to each his/her own. I find it ironic that you would like to compare his "limited perception of men" to yourse. Think about it.
@ Freckles - I just don't like the fathers on his television shows or in his plays (Whenever present)- none are to be emulated.
How would Curtis Payne become a fire chief? Why couldn't he be the respectable guy instead of the village idiot?

Most other fathers in his households are cheating, beating or insipid.
If he (a Black man) keeps putting forth the image of inept Black men - how can we blame the rest of Hollywood for doing the same?
