Is It Better ... ?

Big Don said; "The one we are really going to mourn is Chuck Berry, whose time is getting close. This is true musical genius: He wrote the music, wrote his lyrics, sang and played the lead instrument on numerous top-40 hits. No other performer has ever done this..."
Well...
Alicia Keyes and Prince (Here you go SeeNew - Your girl Salma. Although she is a little "chorter" than I'd prefer - in her case, I'd make an exception.) come to mind.
But does it really matter?
Is it better to be better - but unable to capture the imagination of the masses for over four decades ?
Or is it better to be a slightly better than average talent with phenomenal success in one's chosen field?

Ummm, Roberta Flack too. I'm sure there are more, but I can't really think at 3am...

John - you know that's a kwestin for Denmark Vesey.

Denmark Vesey is THE school of imagination capture and its associated tricknology.

Lot of otherwise smart folks never seem to figure that fact out...,

I think it's better to be slightly better than average with phenomenal success. There is always someone who is better than Jordan but weren't in the NBA.
