Brah..., we are reading from the exact same page of the popular culture playbook at this very moment. I was about the say that "the masses appear to be" but the truth is that "the masses ARE resistant to anything other than directive instruction". They want information spoon fed to them by somebody with apparent authority, told what to think and told what to do.
Feed these ninjas a fish, because it never has been and never will be possible to teach them to fish for themselves.
