I think I'm going to have to pass on the Confederate History month..
Once I have filled my brain to capacity with all of the other good things there are to learn about in this world, then maybe I will get back to this subject ;)
when I first moved to Greenville SC there was a fuss over the county not celebrating ML day. It was the south, people whine about stuff, we got over it... till I had to renew my drivers lic. and couldn't on the day I tried. The office was closed for Confederate Memorial Day. That was 6 years ago and I'm still not over it.
I always hear; "But you guys have Black History Month"
The difference is that Confederate History was always in the history books.
I think we need "Women's History Month" we're so under-represented.
