Hoodalicious

Ghetto Fabulous, Hood Rat, Hoochie, whatever.
Regardless of class, race or culture - everyone seeks status.
Even those who imagine themselves above status seeking are engaging in status seeking by thinking of themselves as being better than those who openly seek status.
(It's kind of a false form of modesty.)
Even Christ was a status seeker.
In His denial of temporal matters He was hoping for an eternal reward on the right hand of God with His enemies at His feet.

Was Christ seeking Status or the actions he would take automatically makes people assign you that staus. If any man kills the dictator is seeking status or to kill the dictator and those under the dictator torment will raise him up!

I don't think everyone seeks it like it's their hidden agenda but I do believe people thrust upon those brave enough to take on the status quo.

Big Man was off on this trope not too long ago..., and lost the gist of this specific point in translation.

The "Christ" is a transformational assignation having nothing whatsoever to do with the status trappings of this world. It is mastery of and departure from this world through the barrier of death - to call departure from this world "status seeking" in this world is to miss its point altogether...,
