Talk about the epigenome...It seems that this fish has evolved to the point of having a see through head.

But since there are no other fish with similar DNA, but lacking this phenotype, is this this just a simple case of evolution?

@ RunningMom - It seems to live in a rough part of the ocean - where seeing what's coming up behind you would be beneficial.
