UBJ... This commercial is beyond stupid, sexist and probably/likely/intentionally? stereotypically racially insensitive.
However, you and I both know that when being risque', black men and women often refer to themselves as sexy chocolate, chocolate dream, dark chocolate lover, etc. So is there any way possible in advertising to make a chocolate man without it looking like a black man? Probably not..
I guess they could have made him White Chocolate...Or better yet, just skipped the ad campaign entirely.
That commerical freaked me out when I saw it. At first I thought black face then a white lady bit him on the ass for some chocolate and I thought I don't remember seeing white ladies biting black mens asses in the past!
Concerning to whom the fault of oppression belongs; "We are not all equally guilty but we are all equally responsible" - Rabbi Abraham Hescel
Concerning blaming others for the problem; "...And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?... - Matthew: 7 1-5
Concerning how to fix the problems concerning oppression; "Someone once said that the word 'motivation' should never be used in the singular. Some combination of motives always exist and it's impossible for anyone to qualify the proportion of each that is involved in any given act" - Warren Buffet (in an interview in the USA Today)

is it worth noting that I think they meant for this to be a chocolate white guy. If not, than Mr. Choco has spent some time and money in the salon.
I guess its OK to be black, if you are white?
All I know is that thanx to these products it is impossible to breathe if confined in the same room with two or more middle school boys.
Axe... A very appropriate name...
