Not All The Same

There is nothing wrong with being different, with not fitting in.
The only problem is when we let others tell us where and how we are supposed to fit.
When we let others determine our future.
But similar to the above child's toy - the same shapes can be made by using different parts.
Not all are built to be squares, and not all circles are formed from the same parts.

Unfortunately, schools were/are structured to do exactly that. To make us all as much the same as possible. To drum out and punish individuality. At least they were in my day.

Even more so now.
I have to teach my young cousins to do the required work for the good grades but to do background research for their own edification.
Sometimes they get into trouble for actually teaching the teacher.
