But I do.
Think the GOP will buy this for a billboard?

On a serious note John ;) I think the parties have different policies in different cities.
My thoughts are that while the overall platform (talking 'bout both parties now) may not appeal to some, there are governors and mayors that are really working and looking out for their constituents and the well being of the public. Which is what it's all about.
Right, me too. because I know there are examples here of mayors that are true heroes of the people, from both parties.
Mayors that have always had the well being of their people and municipality at heart. And who have won the confidence and the vote of all, including people of the opposing party.
Concerning to whom the fault of oppression belongs; "We are not all equally guilty but we are all equally responsible" - Rabbi Abraham Hescel
Concerning blaming others for the problem; "...And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?... - Matthew: 7 1-5
Concerning how to fix the problems concerning oppression; "Someone once said that the word 'motivation' should never be used in the singular. Some combination of motives always exist and it's impossible for anyone to qualify the proportion of each that is involved in any given act" - Warren Buffet (in an interview in the USA Today)

I think LOCAL government matters.
On the national level - not so much.
