This is how a Christmas fire is supposed to look.
But this past weekend crackheads burned down two more of my empty rental houses.
I know, I know...., it happens to me every year.
This year I swore that I would not let the homeless stay in empty units to keep warm during cold weather.
I've lost so many houses that I've lost count.
Okay, starting next year no homeless people will be allowed to stay warm in any empty units.
Man I think you need to divest from saving people and just make money. This being nice for the Winter stuff seems to be a big cost on you. You might as well buy some heavy coats lined with plastic and give them to the homeless crackheads and say Merry Xmas.
ReplyDeleteToo Bad My Dude!! Guess it doesn't pay to do something nice for folks.
ReplyDeleteI agree with DF, BIG TIME!!!
ReplyDeleteOnce they burn down your units, they simply move on to devour something else! The units would be better suited to drug free squatters, poverty stricken mothers with children could stay there UBJ! Then you'd be keeping a FAMILY warm and they would actually APPRECIATE it!
Im just saying.
Blessings in the new year!
this happens every year?? wow...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year UBJ! Hope you have a happy ad prosperous one! You left on vacation without saying goodbye huh ;)
ReplyDelete@ FreeMan - Those properties were intended for that purpose.
ReplyDeleteI didn't plan to make any money from them, I only wanted to see if there was any one from the hood worth taking to the next level.
In this case, there were none.
I'm down to five rentals and I don't even care about them anymore.
@ Ojo - I had to find out for myself.
@ Anna - I used to rent to the elderly, single moms or those fresh out of prison. For the past three or four years I've been transitioning them into government funded housing and out of my units.
I don't rally care about the houses - only the land.
But why pay to have the houses torn down when I can just let what is going to happen happen.
I just let some benefit in the interim.
@ Liam - Yeah... unfortunately.
@ Desertflower - Nah... just busy for the Holidays.
