Progress ?

Some say that politics have nothing to do with race.
As American White Supremacist Nazis in L.A. rally to support a more strict interpretation of our immigration laws,
And some from the same group rallies against Obama depicting him as Hitler,

While still others attempt to diminish the effects of Slavery while commemorating Confederate History Month,

Are those on the Right really so confused?
I guess it should be seen as progress when said party chooses a Black man as their puppet figurehead.

It's progress! They went from overt racism to symbolism and actually appointing a puppet to hide their true intentions. It's progress for sure!

Though there may indeed be many racists among the Republican party, I wouldn't conflate them with radical right, simply because the radical right despises the Republican party. White separatists might share values with conservatives, but they are still different groups that have major differences in ideology and political direction.

I used to be down on Michael Steele; and now, now I just want to see him use all their money for strip clubs and massage parlors.

I wanna be like Mike!!!

@ FreeMan - I liked McCain as a candidate for POTUS - he had all of the historical qualifications.
But when he allowed his party to force Palin upon him I thought, "If he can't even govern his own party then he cannot govern a whole country.".
Since then, I don't even think the GOP knows what it stands for itself.

@ Anon. - Both parties have racists but each has a different agenda.
One seems to create a class of citizens which is dependent upon the government - the other seems to want to exclude the same class from the government.

@ I know you're just joking - but having too many political leaders wishing to emulate Mike's actions causes even bigger problems.

The saddest part about Michael Steele is that he doesn't realize that he's a complete buffoon.
