Why bother blogging if one is not getting paid?
Because I learn more on some sites than I ever learned in school.
All pedantry aside - we all learn from others (just to varying degrees and value) especially those with great perspicacity.

Thanks for hidden props! I learn a lot from taking my mind off of the Lakers here and there. What's funny is someone got mad at me for writing the R&G and having sponsors. Damn I can't even give away information if I'm going to have a commercial interruption.
Blogs are great for letting me know other people are thinking. For a long time in life I thought no one could see what I saw. I felt like I was the weird one because I could see the pattern and I learned at a early age to keep that ish quiet so I wouldn't get beat.
I tell you one thing you are like the reason I lost the spelling bee in the 3rd grade. After knowing all my words to the 10th grade they pulled one out their ass that I couldn't discern a meaning of. It was a 11th grade word that my tutor teacher was pissed that they gave me. I don't remember what it was but it could have been perspicacity! LMBAO, now you are giving me flashbacks of my 8 year old failures...
too kind, too kind.
I profit from these interactions every.single.day - nowhere else have I ever found counterparts in a persistent discussion of *interests* with whom I can achieve the emergent qualities of a good jam session, and, have a helluva lot of rotflmbao fun in the process!
THAT's the payoff imoho....,
@ FreeMan - Believe me, there are very few times (in my daily life) when a word with more than two syllables gets pulled out of my butt.
When done - the meaning is usually lost on the listener.
But here...
@ SeeNew - Yeah... but your spot requires a prerequisite fund of knowledge.
