One Month

1) Florida Gators
2) Texas Longhorns
3) Oklahoma Sooners

4) USC Trojans

5) a tie between Mississippi and,

V Tech.
It's only a little over a month before the beginning of college football season (September 3).
While the CCR composite rankings list USC as the pre-season number four team - they always seem to belong in either of the top two slots.
Really... who wants to watch another Bob Stoops team get their butts whipped in a big game?
And if a team can't win it's conference, does it deserve to play for the national title (Texas fans)?
So - maybe this year, we will be able to see USC show Tim Tebow and his criminals how real football is played.
Maybe this year USC will reclaim their rightful place as National Champions.

  1. It's the curse of the west! I argued this all the time on when I lived on the East! I would say the Pac 10 has just as many ranked teams as any other conference.

Truth be told BCS = SEC and usually they only look to that conference. Teams can lose number 1 and still jump ahead of USC. So unless we just go undefeated then they will try to put a 1 loss LSU or 1 loss Florida above any team from the West!

Damn I just miss the Rose Bowl. Let it go back to the way it was this BCS stuff is garbage!

  3. @ FreeMan - All I hear here in Texas is how USC is over-rated.
Maybe they are, but they consistantly remain in the top 5.
IMO - BSC = SEC and Big 12.
    The Pac10 get's no love.

    @ brohammas - Which "We"?
    Utah, BYU or Utah State?
Actually, Utah would be great if it didn't have to compete with BYU for it's athletes.
It's the same problem Texas Tech, or Texas A&M has with Texas (The glamour school in the state.).
Even though most UT fans are so dumb... they couldn't even spell "U.T.".

I think Utah would be greater than they are if they didn't have to split athletes with BYU. After all they have had two undefeated, BCS busting seasons in the past 6 years and should have won a share of last year's national title.

  5. "we" would be the one on my diploma... Utah.
BYU has little to do with our lack of natl. title. The ones who beat us out for a title are the ones voting, not playing.
It makes my favorite pastime share a category with figure skating. Unacceptable.
