It's necessary evil going on in Iran right now. The people have to fight for their freedom, but that fight comes at a cost and many people are losing their lives right now because of it.
One of my best friends is from Iran, he has parents and siblings, nieces and nephews there. Kids who like computers and ipods and music and video games - just like our kids. His mom loves to shop, just like most women in America!
Sometimes we forget that in places like Iraq and Iran there are people just like us who want the same freedoms that we have.
Concerning to whom the fault of oppression belongs; "We are not all equally guilty but we are all equally responsible" - Rabbi Abraham Hescel
Concerning blaming others for the problem; "...And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?... - Matthew: 7 1-5
Concerning how to fix the problems concerning oppression; "Someone once said that the word 'motivation' should never be used in the singular. Some combination of motives always exist and it's impossible for anyone to qualify the proportion of each that is involved in any given act" - Warren Buffet (in an interview in the USA Today)

I'm praying for them daily.
@ RunningMom - I just thought it was amuzing that we riot over a game - but in some counties, they (rightfully) riot over freedom.
