But Whose Culture is Whose?

Every culture borrows from those with which they have come into contact.
Even Precolonial Africa was influenced by Asian and Arab cultures.
I have yet to see An African-American culture where the wearing of Dashikis, speaking Yoruba and worshiping the Orisha are the norm.

Could it be said that African-Americans can be blamed for appropriating European culture?
