Dylan.. People act as though a flag creates a visceral response which inherently elicits a negative reaction. In reality it is the context. Many Blacks watched The Dukes with little more than a Foghorn Leghorn-type reaction to to the flag or the South. IMOHO - the flag should be allowed in memorials and in historic settings or in ones personal space - in public spaces, not so much..
So much to say about a flag, and so many others have said it all so many times that I feel I have nothing to add.
