While this line of thinking may sound a bit harsh - maybe it is correct.
How many laws have been passed which have eliminated poverty in America?
How many religions have solved this seemingly unsolvable problem?
How many organizations have succeeded in eradicating poverty?
How many billions of dollars have been spent only to see the problem getting worse for far too many?
This line of thinking seems a bit vain.
A bit dismissive of others who have less.
But this line of thinking solves the problem one person at a time.
Why is it that some imagine themselves to be the person to solve this problem?
Why do some think that they can do what the Bible says they cannot.
Is this not also vanity?
Everything went well today. Not as bad as they had made it out to be. Thanks for the well wishes!
ReplyDeleteAren't socialism and communism supposed to eradicate poverty...
I'd look at it a different way: Why is there so much less poverty in Northern and Western Europe then there is here? Why are their quality of life rankings higher?
ReplyDelete@ Anon. - Odd that.
ReplyDeleteI love going to New Orleans but I would never wish to live there (Too poor and simple.).
Maybe Europeans feel the same about the US.
