Regarding HArry R. My wife had a good point when she asked how one can get to be the majority leader of the Democratic party and have absolutely no black friends, because he obviously doesn't.
No matter what you really think of his comments you know that if he had any black friends they would have told him long ago to uh... dude, icksnay on the egronay.

I still hear old Blacks refer to themselves as such, but not "colored".
