The storage of toxic chemicals in fat seems to be the body's way of moving these (and many other) harmful chemicals to a less destructive area.
When these stores of fat are called upon to provide a release of energy - the toxins are then released into the more readily impacted parts of the body and harmful side effects ensue.

But if someone who is obese and stores lots of heavy metals in their fat looses weight then the heavy metals will be released. They can only safely release that fat if they are taking chelators to bind the heavy metals and help to excrete them.
ReplyDeleteAnd perhaps they are better off than skinny minnies because the toxic metals are stored in fat and not deposited directly into organs.
@ doll - Being neither "fat" nor "skinny" is best - both have possitive and negative side effects.
