Father of Tabitha

Retromingent adjective Cowardly (literally, 'urinating backward).

I'd been taught the word back in grammar school but had never seen it again until a link provided by DD had it as their Weird Word of the Week.

Soursop?

Who Knew?

Liar, Liar,...

Why is it that big girls always lie and say that they 'like' being fat?
Some, like my all-time least favorite Mo'Nique, have even made a career out of lying to themselves and the rest of their fluffy crew saying ridiculous things like, "I'm Fatabulous".
Now Precious seems to have backed away from her previous, "I love who I am." comment after being ridiculed for her excessive girth.

Bitches Pa-lease... Don't let your modest celebrity fool you into believing that you are happy with your weight while encouraging other bigguns to remain unhealthy.
At least Oprah admits that she prefers to be smaller and more fit.

Mannequins Got Ass ???

Back in the day, mannequins looked like mannequins - banana boobs and all.
Later, mannequins were made to look more athletic with breasts that sat higher on the chest.
Then someone came up with the idea of creating more full figured mannequins to more accurately reflect the size and shape of a store's customers..
Butt (sic) when did mannequins get asses like Jo-Lo or Beyonce?

Why Romney/Ryan Failed

Beliefs from the 60's are not the same as the realities of today...
(Oh, but they were all such natty dressers.)

Meanwhile, Back on the Farm...

Soon after Governor Rick Perry pushed to have those seeking aid tested for drugs - one of my neighbors proposed the same standard for public officials.

This why I say that local elections matter.
In local politics one can speak directly to his representatives one-on-one.
In local politics one cannot hide behind a gated wall while those on the outside suffer the consequences of his wrong-headed decisions.

WTF?

FEMA needs assistance?

I Just Can't Stand to Look at Her

The only woman more disgusting is Mo'Nique.

Faith?

Was it Plato or Aristotle who thought that 'faith' and 'knowledge' were one and the same?

Like Spoiled Children

Succession?
Nigga' Pa-Leeease...
You'll end up like a runaway on the streets being exploited by all the pimps and hustlers.

More Dumb-Assedness?

Damn... I never knew hat so many idiots thought that it would better to starve on their own instead of serving under a Black puppet instead of a white one. http://www.wealthwire.com/news/economy/4053
I guess being dumb,
Homogeneous,

Fat,

and Baptist is not the best recipe for success in America.
But then again, every state has it's issues.

The SECOND Worst Day In American History

So Obama won and many have taken to the Internet to express their heartbreak .
But cheer up y'all - the reelection of President Obama was only the second worst day in American history.
(I know you all remember the worst.)
That being said , there is only one logical choice of action...

Is It Descrimination ?

The re-election of President Obama seems to have ignited a powder keg of suppressed hatred.
The racial slurs seem almost unrelenting.
The most common posts on my facebook feeds seem to be those of 'Black Pride".
Why is this acceptable ?
If Romney would have won and whites posted as much about "White Pride" - wouldn't this be seen as being racist?

It seems that everyone is proud of something just as long as it subjugates other groups.
The only one who seems to have it right is Carlin.

R.I.P.

What Now? (Or, Now What?)

As many from America and beyond celebrate Barack Obama's election to a second tern in office - the question remains the same four years after his first monumental victory, "Now What?".

Not in Houston

People on my club's facebook page keep passing this image around stating that this picture was taken in Houston.
Upon further research I found out that it was taken in North Carolina as a protest by some guy trying to get his local, state or federal authorities to look into the death of his relative.
I even linked the story to our facebook page yet many of my patrons were upset because I ruined their "Local Racism" meme.

Anosognostics

I could never understand why hoodrats could never see their own hoodratchettness, or why poor people never understand that they are poor, or why dumb people never quite grasp that they are dumb.
DorcasDaddy provided a nice link on SeeNew's site to a five-part series which explains, "Why?".

Elon Musk - The REAL Tony Stark

When the government becomes too bloated to accomplish anything, smart people step in.
